WAWU & MAPPAE Project
The acronym for ๐๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ช๐ค๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ค ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ต๐ด ๐๐ข๐ต๐ฉ๐ธ๐ข๐บ๐ด ๐๐ค๐ณ๐ฐ๐ด๐ด ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ฆ โ aims to create multi-sensory, tourist and cultural thematic routes, linking European destinations united by a common tradition in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants.
The partnership includes six European countries: ITALY, FRANCE, CROATIA, BOSNIA, CYPRUS, and MALTA.
The project is inspired by the principles of โslow tourismโ and โexperiential tourismโ conceived as a multi-sensory experience. It aims to stimulate visitors with innovative tourist itineraries addressed to European and intercontinental markets.
12 Itineraries have been designed featuring the universe of MAPs (Medicinal, Aromatic, and Perfume Plants). The touristic routes will be accessible through a Web portal, videos, and multimedia content and a specific App that uses innovative mobile technologies.
